On Friday, May 16th, Roemer Industries LLC, a custom nameplate and label manufacturer in Masury, Ohio, was awarded the title of a Metalphoto® Certified Converter.
What is Metalphoto®?
Metalphoto is photosensitive, anodized aluminum material that is used to make extremely durable nameplates, labels and control panels with variable data like barcodes, QR codes and serialized tags. It’s similar to the process of developing film for a digital camera, and the information is sealed inside of the anodic layer of the aluminum.
Because of this process, this material has long term resistance to sunlight, saltwater and harsh chemicals. It’s been specified by leading OEMs, military and government organizations where outdoor performance is a critical factor.
Roemer currently produces metalphoto nameplates and barcode tags custom to its customers’ specific requirements.
