We Make It Right, We Make It On Time

Roemer Industries Takes a Deep Sea Dive

Nameplate to provide a beacon of light in safety compliance

The Roemer Industries, Inc. standard of long lasting quality and durability now runs deeper than ever, that is by 5,000 feet.

Roemer, which creates graphic identification products, is now bringing their expertise in fabrication and engineering to the market of marine markings and deep-water products and signage. These “Roemer Deep-Water Markings” will attach to underwater equipment to allow divers and Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicles (ROVs) to quickly read and identify valves for efficient and prompt shut-off and marking of control system components.

“Challenging projects bring out the best in Roemer’s engineering expertise. We received this project based off of those capabilities and I think that says a lot about who we are and what we can do,” said Mike Farmer, Roemer Industries’ General Manager, commenting on a leading offshore drilling company that has already requested this product from Roemer Industries.

One disadvantage of using an ROV is the fact that visibility for evaluation is made more difficult in these subsea environments. “Remotely Operated Tools (ROTs) will be able to quickly identify directional arrows, warning and caution messages in these harsh environment conditions. Our product will allow for quick identification by the operators. Not only will these products considerably assist in the safety of lives and the environment, but they will also aid in meeting more stringent guidelines and minimalize the potential for errors when dangerous situations may arise,” explains Mr. Farmer.

Roemer Industries is proud of its 74 – year history and serves customers locally, nationally and internationally. Roemer offers a comprehensive range of graphic identification products including, nameplates, labels, overlays and 2D barcodes.
